Internet on board<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/li><\/ul>
<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>It is often difficult to find a good Internet connection in the harbour with the WiFi there. WiFi reception is often insufficient and sometimes just plain poor. By connecting an external WiFi antenna\/adaptor to the BoatController, you will be sure to always have the fastest WiFi reception on board. The BoatController will connect to the harbour (or with the 3G\/4G network) and you will then immediately have an Internet connection on your smartphone\/tablet or PC on board. You will have an Internet connection and the navigation data simultaneously via the WiFi Hotspot of the BoatController.<\/p>\n
There are some devices that improve WiFi reception, but these often only work with a limited number of Internet providers. The BoatController also supports Ziggo and UPC hotspots.<\/p>\n

<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>By expanding the BoatController with the BC Relay Modules, you can wirelessly connect to up to 16 devices.<\/p>\n
It is ideal to wirelessly be able to turn every device on or off from any location on your boat. You no longer need to walk to your control panel on the boat.<\/p>\n

Apps and navigation software<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/li><\/ul>
<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>You need an App or navigation programme to display your navigation information on your smartphone, tablet or PC.<\/p>\n
There are many Apps and navigation programmes available, both for free and paid.<\/p>\n

- iSailor<\/a><\/strong>is considered to be professional and user-friendly, suitable for Apple and android smartphones or tablets; in order to navigate, you must purchase electronic cards in the app.<\/li>\n
- WinGPS<\/a><\/strong>, a Dutch company that offers good support. For Windows and android, honest prices.<\/li>\n
- Pcnavigo<\/a><\/strong>,\u00a0is often used by cruisers and commercial vessels; it has a route planner that takes bridge times, among others, into account and is suitable for Windows, Mac and android.<\/li>\n
- iNavX<\/a><\/strong>,\u00a0highly expansive app with many options suitable for Apple iOs, iPhones and iPads.<\/li>\n
- Navionics<\/a> <\/strong>(Boating), with external GPS and Sonar Server (depth gauge) support!<\/strong> Suitable for android and iOs. If your tablet has no internal GPS, then you can receive GPS data via BoatController in your App. If you have connected a depth gauge, you will also receive depth data for the Live Sonar Charts!\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Go to the settings in the apps or navigation programmes, add the connections, select a network and\/or UDP, enter the ip address 192.168.32.1, select port 5001 and click on connect and you will subsequently receive the navigation data.<\/p>\n
